Chemical waste generated in laboratories and support services is subject to both federal and state environmental regulations. Environmental Health Safety and Emergency Management (EHS&EM) provides oversight, consultation, training and other services to university faculty and staff. Our goal is to help university personnel to ensure the proper management and ultimate disposal of hazardous waste generated through research, teaching and support activities.
